Product Manager (m/f) Food Safety

In order to strengthen our Northern Europe team, we are looking for a Product Manager (m/f) Food Safety.



To carry out its mission, the product manager will work closely with International Category Manager based in our headquarter in Dinard ( France ). The role of our product manager in our new organization is key.


Your Tasks

  • Work hand by hand with Central Marketing department to manage local product mix.

  • Participate to sales meeting to present marketing vision and strategy elaborated with central marketing department and implement the action plan to reach objectives

  • Support the sales teams : Training of sales teams, daily questions, sharing experience

  • Participate to the constitution of product launch files (positioning, advantages, benefits for customers) and perform product launching in his/her country (ies) following central marketing rules

  • Deploy marketing tools coming from Central Marketing Department

  • Organize and follow up of products trials with sales teams at customer site : improvement in terms of product’s use and positioning.

  • Analysis of the market and competitive situation : be a source of proposals in terms of products / services / tools development

  • Follow KPI : on product launching, product substitution, product mix analysis, training …

  • Propose a media plan

  • Organize and participate to exhibitions closely with corporate communication department and central marketing department

  • Guarantee the good use of graphic charters, marketing documents, marketing tools made available to sales teams

  • Participate to marketing meetings with central marketing department in a very regular frequency

  • Provide a monthly complete report of marketing actions on his/her country (ies)

  • Participate actively to the elaboration of e-learning courses and any other training format ( webinar.. )


Your Profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or completed studies (food technology, agriculture, food management, chemistry or similar) as engineer, technician or master of the food industry/ agriculture /chemical industry

  • Ideally, first professional experience in product management

  • Good chemical or zootechnical knowledge

  • Profound knowledge of MS-Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)

  • Teamwork, self-reliance, willingness to communicate, commitment and travel willingness

  • Organizational talent and proactive way of working

  • Good command of written and spoken English
